Uxbridge- Sheila T. (Ferris) Page, 85, passed away peacefully on Fri. Feb. 5, 2021 at Milford Regional Hospital.
She is survived by 5 children, Robert M. Page of South Minneapolis, MN, Willard M. Page and his wife Linda of Uxbridge, Glen M. Page of New Port Richey, FL, Sheila L. Caira, of Newton, and Melissa L. Silvestro and her husband Peter of Uxbridge with whom she lived, as well as 6 grandchildren, Ashley, Mitchell, Daniel, Owen, Kole, and Kylie.
Born in County Kerry, Ireland on August 29, 1935 Sheila was the daughter of Michael and Johanna (Foley) Ferris and immigrated to the states when she was 12 years old. She lived on Long Island, NY then moved to Worcester in her teens.  She has been a resident of the Uxbridge area for the past 49 years. Sheila worked as a waitress at the former Cocke’n Kettle restaurant for over 30 years.
Sheila loved playing the slots at Twin River Casino and scratching her lottery tickets. She was very friendly and had a great sense of humor. She also loved reading, watching the birds outside her window and storytelling.  However, her greatest joy was her grandchildren.  She cherished every moment spent with them.
She spoke often about finally meeting her father, who passed when she was a baby.  Her family is comforted with the belief that she left so quickly and peacefully because she ran to him when he came down to bring her to heaven.
Services for Sheila will be privately held by the convenience of her family. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to: the American Heart Association, PO Box 417005 Boston, MA 02241-7005. To leave a condolence message for her family please visit:
