Uxbridge - Carol Ann Palazzi, 66, passed away on December 17, 2019 at UMass Memorial Hospital after courageously battling a long illness. She passed comfortably, surrounded by her loving family.

She is survived by her significant other of 41 years, Larry Bragdon. She’s also survived by her mother, Barbara Bowe; her sisters, Mary Bowe-Shulman and Barb Warren; her brothers Pat Bowe and Fred Bowe, as well as numerous nieces and nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her father who passed away in 1970. She was born to Andrew Palazzi and Barbara Cunningham in Cambridge, Mass. on October 11, 1953.

Carol was a 1971 graduate of Acton-Boxborough High School. Carol then went on to the Boston University School of Nursing BSN program, and graduated in 1975. She worked as a Registered Nurse for her entire career compassing nearly 40 years. She did all this despite battling multiple diseases and health conditions that spanned from her senior year in high school to when she finally had to give up her career due to disability. She’ll be remembered as someone who had an excellent work ethic, persevered through much adversity, and never gave up.

There are no services planned; however, her family would appreciate any donations made in Carol’s memory to Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, or any other cancer institute or charity. To leave a condolence message for the family, please visit: www.Jackmanfuneralhomes.com

I would like to express my condolences to Carol's family. I had the pleasure of working with Carol at Marlboro Hospital for many years. I always admired her wealth of knowledge. May Carol rest in peace.

To Carol's partner Larry, mother, my Aunt Brabara, Carol's siblings and friends - I am so sorry for our loss - a brilliant, kind , thoughtful woman who suffered much poor health is gone. She will be missed so very much more than knowing Carol she credited herself with - her humor, thoughtfulness and kindness will remain in our hearts - may your memories help sustain you in the coming days - prayers and blessings - kathleen
