Dominic Aloisi Obituary

Uxbridge- Dominic D. Aloisi, 76, formerly of Groveland, MA passed away suddenly on Friday, April 5, 2024 at his home after being stricken ill. He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Linda M. (Camuso) Aloisi.
       He is also survived by his 2 children, David Aloisi and his wife Lisa of Townsend, MA; and Susan Greene and her husband Tom of Douglas, MA; 2 grandchildren, Michael and Gabriella Aloisi; a brother, Anthony Aloisi and his wife Doreen of Revere, as well as several nieces, nephews, and friends. He was recently predeceased by his brother Robert D. Aloisi in 2023.
       Born in Lynn, MA on July 31, 1947 he was the son of Gusto and Domenica (Ferraro) Aloisi and grew up in Revere. He was a graduate of Revere High school class of 1965. He furthered his education attending college at Mass Bay Community College before his service in the Navy. Dominic proudly served in the Navy during the Vietnam era and was stationed in Newport, RI before being honorable discharged in 1968. Dominic worked as a computer software director for Mass General Hospital for many years, retiring in 1999. 
       Dominic enjoyed stream fishing, cooking, dancing, always telling funny stories, and delivering Meals on Wheels for the Milford Senior Center. Most important to Dom was spending time with his family, and especially his grandchildren whom were the light of his life. He was a man of faith and a member of the Valley Chapel Church of the Nazarene. He had been an Uxbridge resident the past 27 years.
       His funeral service will be held in Tancrell-Jackman Funeral Home, 35 Snowling Rd., Uxbridge on Tues., April 9th at 7PM. Calling hours in the funeral home will be held prior to the service from 4-7 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations in Dominic’s memory may be made to either Meals on Wheels c/o Tri Valley Inc., 10 Mill St., Dudley, MA 01571 or to The American Diabetes Association, https://diabetes.org/
