Music by The Piano Brothers

Uxbridge- Judith. G “Judy” (Vincent) True, 77, entered eternal life on Wednesday, May 29, 2019. She leaves her loving husband of 61 years, Ralph E. True Sr.

She is also survived by her son, Ralph E. True Jr. of Uxbridge; 2 granddaughters, Andrea Henchey and Jessica Goyer; 2 great-grandchildren Eva and Logan Henchey; a brother, William Vincent; a niece, Kathy Stevens; and her beloved beagle, Molly. She was predeceased by her son David True, and was sister of the late Carl Vincent, Peggy Vincent, and Charlotte Vincent.

Judy and Ralph proudly owned and operated the Uxbridge Taxi for over 40 years. They also provided private school transportation for children with disabilities for over 2 decades. Judy lived a simple life. It didn’t take much to cheer her up- a kiss on the nose from her beagle Molly, a clean house, a good book exchange with Jan and other friends, a phone call, a meeting with friends for coffee at Jumbo Donuts, or a visit from her grandchildren. She loved flowers, and always enjoyed a fresh bouquet of her own garden’s tulips or dahlias on the kitchen table, or special mailed deliveries from her niece Kathy in Nevada. She and Ralph shared a love for the ocean, often visiting Point Judith for a walk on the beach when the weather was cool and the beach was quiet, searching for seashells. She loved sitting on the rocks and watching the boats come and go, with some clam cakes and a cup of chowder.

Judy will missed by many. Thank you to all of her family and friends for their love and support, and special thanks to the staff at St. Camillus Nursing Home. Judy’s ashes will be spread at Point Judith Lighthouse, where her son David’s ashes were also spread.

Her Funeral Home Service will be held Mon. June 3 at 6 PM in Tancrell-Jackman Funeral Home, 35 Snowling Rd., Uxbridge. A reception and Celebration of Life at VFW Post #1385 on Douglas St. will follow. Calling hours at the funeral home will be held prior to the service from 3 to 6 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Uxbridge Fire Department, 25 S. Main St. Uxbridge, MA 01569. Ralph, So sorry for your loss. My sincere condolences to you and your family. Judy was a really nice person. I remember buying shiners from her at your house in Uxbridge so many years ago. I'm sure you will miss her terribly. I can tell you, it does get better with time.
