Uxbridge- Stanley F. Kloczkowski, 91, passed away on Mon. Jan. 21, 2019 at St. Camillus Health Center, after a period of declining health. He was predeceased by his beloved wife of 65 years, Germaine T. (Brochu) Kloczkowski on August 28, 2017.
      Stanley is survived by 2 children; Anne M. Mangano and her husband Joseph of N. Andover, and John S. Kloczkowski of N. Uxbridge, 5 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren; a brother, Michael Kloczkowski and his wife Laurabel of Millville, as well as many nieces and nephews. He was also predeceased by 3 brothers: Rudolph, Ignatuis, and Frank Kloczkowski, and 2 sisters, Julia Mitchell, and Pauline Larose.
     Born on Nov. 11, 1927 in Millville, he was the son of Antoni and Sophie (Killian) Kloczkowski and lived in the Millville/Uxbridge area most of his life. He was a graduate of Blackstone High School, and attended New England Institute of Technology in Providence. Stanley proudly served his country joining the Army during the WWII era, where he was stationed at both the Aberdeen Proving Grounds in Maryland, and at Fort Bragg, NC, he specialized as an automotive parts clerk.
        After his service, Stanley worked primarily as a technician at companies in the area including, Engineering Model Lab in Ashland, Nelmor Co. in N. Uxbridge, and American Coil in Grafton, where he retired in 1993. He was a longtime member of Good Shepherd Church, the Polish American Citizens Club in Millville, and also the Polish American Veterans in Uxbridge. Throughout his life Stanley loved boating and shared this with his family. He also enjoyed gardening, and spent many hours picking blueberries. In his later years, you would often find Stanley mastering jigsaw puzzles, or doing word search challenges.
        The Kloczkowski family would like to extend a special thank you to Notre Dame Hospice and the staff at St. Camillus, who have cared for Stanley over the past year.
     His Funeral will be held on Fri. Jan. 25 at 11am in Good Shepherd Church, 121 Linwood St., Uxbridge. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery. There are no calling hours.
