Uxbridge- Wayne T. St. Marie, 43, of Capron St. died Sat. July 21, 2018 at home after a courageous battle with cancer.
     He is survived by his son Kurtis St. Marie of Uxbridge; his daughter Elisha St. Marie of N. Carolina; 2 grandchildren; his mother and Step-dad Jean and Robert Dumas with whom he lived; his maternal grandmother Felicia McCourt of Bridgewater, MA; 2 sisters Christina Galas of Uxbridge and Mary Jean St. Marie of Pawtucket, RI; a brother Robert St. Marie of Douglas; an aunt; 2 uncles; several cousins, and good friends. Born in Worcester, MA on June 23, 1975, he lived in Uxbridge most of his life. He had lived in N. Carolina for 6 years.
     Wayne worked as an Automotive Service Technician at Imperial Chevrolet  in Mendon the past 4 years, previously working at Long Cadillac in Framingham. He also worked at Baystate Abrasives several years. He was educated in the Uxbridge Public school system and was a graduate of Automotive Tech School in N. Carolina. He loved fishing, canoeing, camping and old cars, especially Chevys. He was also talented in computers and enjoyed playing video games. Wayne was kind hearted and would give you the shirt off his back. Family was most important to him however, especially spending time with his son Kurtis. He will be deeply missed.
     His Memorial Funeral Service will be held Sat. July 28 at 4 pm in Tancrell Jackman Funeral Home, 35 Snowling Rd. Uxbridge. Calling hours are Sat. July 28 at the funeral home from 2 to 4 pm. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Dana Farber Cancer Research, PO Box 849168, Boston, MA 02284.
