Douglas- Peter A. "Pedro" Allard, 59, of Manchaug St. passed away Friday June 1, 2018 after an illness.  
     Peter is survived by his longtime girlfriend Paula Dwyer, his mother Frances (Peck) Allard, his brother Michael Allard, and his sister Brenda Allard all of Uxbridge; 2 nephews Joshua Allard of Fitchburg and Jared Mytych of Webster; and many great friends. He was predeceased by his brother Mark Allard.

        Peter was born in Whitinsville, Ma on April 7, 1959 and was the son of the late Paul Peter Allard. He lived in Douglas and Uxbridge most of his life. Peter graduated from Blackstone Valley Vocational Technical High School in 1977. Peter worked many years as an auto mechanic and a General Motor's Certified Technician.  He served in the US Army as a Motor Transport Operator for 4 years and served 6 years in the Army Reserves. A longtime Harley Davidson fan, he enjoyed riding his motorcycle and also loved shooting sports and was a member of a local sportsman's club.  Peter loved his family and friends and will be missed by everyone who knew him.

       As to his wishes Peter was cremated and his graveside service will be held in the National Cemetery in Bourne, Connery Ave., on Fri. June 29 starting promptly at 11:15 am. My deepest sympathy to Pete's family.
Pete was a big Teddy Bear will a laugh that was the best.
He was a great brother in law and will be missed my many.

To my dearest long time friends/family, my prayers are with you all as you mourn the loss of your son, brother, uncle, Peter.... Although I hadn't seen him in a long time, he was thought about often as I clearly remember the time our families spent together. My sympathies are with you all. Nancy
