Douglas-Nancy L. (Todd) Porter, 83, formerly of Martin Rd. died Sat. Feb. 17, 2018 at Lanessa Extended Care in Webster after a long illness. Her husband of 49 years Harold "Harry" Porter died April 30, 2004.
    She is survived by a daughter Priscilla Kusek of Webster; 2 sons William H. Porter and Tod Porter both of Douglas; 7 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Born in Whitinsville on Feb. 22, 1934 she was the daughter of William and Margaret (Spratt) Todd.
    Mrs. Porter worked for 30 years for Bank of Boston in Whitinsville, David Clark co. in Worcester, the Sutton Council on Aging, and Guiou Excavation in Douglas, retiring in 2002. She enjoyed animals, Ireland, the ocean, and the beach. Mostly however she loved her family and spending time with her grandchildren.
    Her funeral will be held Wed. Feb. 21 with a Mass at 11 am in St. Denis Church, 23 Manchaug St. Burial in Pine Grove Cemetery will be at a later date. Calling hours at Jackman Funeral Home, 7 Mechanic St. are Wed. Feb. 21 from 8:30 to 10:30 am. Memorial donations may be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN   38105.
