Uxbridge- Normand G. “Moe” Trudeau, 76, of Pond St. Died Sat. Dec. 30, 2017 after an illness.
He is survived by the Zuidema family with whom he lived, Lorraine Zuidema and her children, Lori and her husband Michael and daughter Michaela, Nancy and her husband Herb, Cheryl, Robin, Alan and his wife Linda, and Steven; his brothers Arthur Trudeau of Woonsocket and Richard Trudeau and his wife Julie of Northport FL; and several nephews and nieces. Born in Warwick, Rhode Island on March 20, 1941 he was the son of Andre and Blanche (St. Pierre) Trudeau, was raised in Blackstone and lived in Uxbridge 50 years.
Mr. Trudeau worked in maintenance at Guilford of Maine in Douglas. Previously he worked at Hayward-Schuster Woolen Mill and as a truck driver for Hebert Hauling Co. He was a US Army Veteran of the Korean Conflict, serving in Germany. Always on the go, Moe loved to laugh. He enjoyed cutting wood, NASCAR, motorcycles and dune buggies. He enjoyed traveling to Key West for the powerboat races. A sentimental gentleman, Moe will be deeply missed especially for his easy going nature.
