Linwood- Paul L. Charette, 89, passed away on Fri. July 28, 2017 after a well lived life. Paul is now reunited with his wife Evelyn R. (Guertin) Charette who passed away on May 11, 1985. He is survived by 2 sons; Walter J. And his wife Trudy of Dudley, and Mark S. of Lewiston Maine, 2 daughters; Theresa J. LaRoche and her husband Dave of Northbridge, with whom he lived, and Joyce A. Charette of North Attleboro, 4 grandchildren; Michael, Mark, Brandon, and Krista, 3 great grandchildren, including one named after his great grandfather, and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a daughter Paula, who passed away very young.

Born on November 2, 1927 he was the son of Walter and Thelma (Hazeltine) Charette and grew up in Linwood, where he had spent most of his life. Paul owned and operated Linwood Lumber Co. and William Guertin Hardware Store until his retirement in 1993. He loved spending time with his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. He loved to fish, hunt and golf. He was a member of the Uxbridge Rod and gun club. A U.S Navy veteran, serving in WWII, Paul will have full Military Honors at the graveside.

His Funeral Mass will be held on Tues. Aug. 1 at 11am in Good Shepherd Church, 121 Linwood St., Uxbridge, burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery. Calling hours will be held on Mon. July 31 from 5 to 7pm in Tancrell-Jackman Funeral Home, 35 Snowling Rd. Uxbridge. Dear Terry,
I'm so sorry to hear of your Dads passing. May you be comforted in knowing you were the angel by his side through it all and there is nothing more loving and more precious than that. May you and your entire family find peace and comfort in all the sweet memories of your Dad, knowing he now is truly in a beautiful place of peace and rest..a reward for a life well lived and a family well loved.
