Sutton – Francis P. Yargeau, 68, previously of Uxbridge passed away on Fri. March 10, 2017 at Harrington Memorial Hospital in Southbridge after a long battle with diabetes.
    He is survived by his daughter Kimberly A. Yargeau-Fisher and her husband Kelly of Sutton and his son Kenneth J. Yargeau and his wife Jillian of Georgetown, MA; 3 grandchildren Dana C. Yargeau, Damon F. Yargeau, and Lyla C. Yargeau; 5 siblings Brian Yargeau and his wife Joanne of NY, Elaine Rabitor of FL, Robert Yargeau and his wife Donna of Uxbridge, Paula Minichiello and her husband Mickey of Whitinsville, and Anne Hart and her husband Brian of CT; his former wife Carol Havalotti, and many friends.  Born in Whitinsville on March 23, 1948 he was the son of Valmore and Jeannette (McClure) Yargeau growing up in Uxbridge before moving to Sutton 10 years ago.
     Francis worked as an upholsterer for Ethan-Allan, Perkins Upholstery and the former Monroe Upholstery.  He previously worked as a machinist for the former Whitin Machine Works.
      He was a very social person and enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, fishing, and scouting having been a scout as a child and becoming a scout leader as an adult.  Francis was also a collector, collecting trains, trucks, and anything that was M & M.
     His funeral service will be held on Fri., March 17 at 6 p.m. in Valley Chapel, 14 Hunter Rd. Uxbridge.  Calling hours at Valley Chapel will be held on Fri. March 17 from 4 – 6 p.m.  To leave a condolence message for the family, please visit

So sorry to hear that Fran has passed away. We used to be neighbors about 40 years ago when we lived in Linwood. Kenny & Sissy were just little toddlers who would come over to our apartment every day to visit. It brings back many happy memories but makes us so sad to hear that Fran has passed away. I hope your memories of happy days will sustain you in the days & weeks ahead.
