Uxbridge – Joseph O. Lanthier, 55, passed away on Sun. Dec 4, 2016 at Milford Hospital after a brief illness.
     He is survived by his loving wife of 25 years, Robin S. (Salo) Lanthier; his daughter Sarah D. Lanthier of Uxbridge and her boyfriend Michael Thompson; a brother Steven Lanthier ; 4 sisters Susan, Judith, Paula, and Patty,  and their families and many friends. Born in Lowell on Dec. 6, 1960 he was the son of the late Paul F. and Jean (Ogden) Lanthier and lived in Uxbridge many years.  He worked for
the former Atlantic Express in Sutton until their closing and went on to work as a bus driver for Vendetti Motors.
     Joe was very much a family man and delighted in being home with his family and tending to the house, yard, and cooking on the smoker grill.   He also enjoyed camping and especially loved their canoe trips on
the Saco River. Joe served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam era.
     Following his wishes, Joe will be cremated and services will be private and held at a later date convenient to the family. Donations in Joe’s memory may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research
