Whitinsville – Florence T. (Lefrancois) Cancelli, 87, passed away on Fri. Nov. 4, 2016 at St. Vincent Hospital after a brief illness.  Her husband Alfred V. Cancelli passed on May 10, 1998.  She is survived by her son Ronald “Butch” Bruneau and his wife Paula of Minden, NV; 2 daughters Judith Jensen and her husband Daren of Pt. Charlotte, FL and Donna Demboski and her husband Daniel of Uxbridge; 5 grandchildren, Jonathan Demboski, Heidi Clyne, Melissa Hahn, Katie Mertz, and Colleen Ormond; 7 great grandchildren, Eric and Joshua Clyne, Rebekah and Andrew Hahn, Ryver, Addisen, and Kaleb Mertz; her former husband Roland Bruneau and many, many friends.  She was also predeceased by her daughter Cynthia Ormond in Dec., 2014.  Born in Whitinsville, MA on Jan. 28, 1929 she was the daughter of Leo J. and Lillie (Donais) Lefrancois and lived in Northbridge all of her life.
     Florence was a graduate of Northbridge High School and went on to become an LPN working at the former Westborough State Hosp. until her retirement. A very faithful person, she was a parishioner of St. Patrick’s Church serving as a Eucharistic Minister and a former member of St. Peter’s Church in Northbridge.  She was also on the bereavement committee many years. Her kindness and humor always brought a smile or a laugh to those around her. Very involved in her community Florence enjoyed volunteering at the Senior Center, working in the food pantry, and enjoyed quilting and loved to travel.
     Her funeral will be held from Jackman Funeral Home, 12 Spring St., Whitinsville on Thurs. Nov. 10 with a High Mass at 10 a.m. in St. Patrick’s Church, 1 Cross St., Whitinsville.  Calling hours at the funeral home will be held Wed.
