Northbridge- Paul Edward Cencak, “Skeezix”, 82, passed away Saturday, May 28, 2016 at St. Camillus Nursing Home after an illness. His loving wife of 59 years, Patricia Ann (Boulanger) Cencak, predeceased him December 5, 2015. He is survived by 5 children, Paula Jean Cencak of PA, Lisa Honig of Wellesley, John Cencak of CA, Ann LaFleur and her husband Joseph Forgione of North Grafton, Joan Nydam and her husband Henry of Uxbridge; 7 grandchildren, Melissa Hadley and her husband Matthew, Paul Edward LaFleur, Dann Cencak Martin, Meredith Nydam, Henry Nydam, George Nydam, and Grace Honig; one Great Grandson, Nicholas Hadley; and one sister, Rosanna Martellotta of Fl. He was a loving husband, father, Pepere, and brother.

Born in Douglas on October 18, 1933, Paul was the son of John and Mary (Cencak) Cencak and lived in the Whitinsville area most of his life. He attended Douglas High School. A Veteran of the US Army, he served in Augsburg, Germany and Fort Dix, NJ during the Korean War. After his service he became a licensed Barber. He was a member of St. Patrick’s Church, Knights of Columbus Mumford Council 365, the Teamsters Union Local 170, and 200 Sportsman Club of Webster.

His funeral will be held Wednesday June 1, 2016, from Jackman Funeral Home, 12 Spring St., Whitinsville, with a Mass at 11am at St. Patrick’s Church, 1 Cross St., Whitinsville. Burial will follow in St. Patrick’s cemetery. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Camillus Activities Fund, 447 Hill St., Whitinsville, MA or to Mother Teresa Missionaries of Charity, 54/A, A.J.C Bose Road Calcutta 700016, India. We have been away and just learned of Mr Cencaks passing. We send our deepest sympathy to all of you. We will miss waving as we pass 80 East St watching your Dad sweeping and cleaning up the yard. Sending peace and prayers your way.
