Sandra J. D'Amico, 68
Naples, FL - It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Sandra (Banes) D'Amico on November 24, 2012 at Naples Community Hospital at age 68. She was the daughter of the late Robert A. and Rita L. (Lachapelle) Banes of Uxbridge, MA. Sandra is survived by her husband of 46 years, Stephen A. D'Amico of Naples, and her children, Michael (Diana) D'Amico of Mt. Vernon, NH, Christopher (Traci) D'Amico of Marlbourgh, CT, and Jason (Jessica) D'Amico of Middletown, CT. She was predeceased by a son, Brad Stephen D'Amico. She also leaves her grandchildren, Dominic, Rachel, Bradley, and Brenna. Also surviving her are her sisters, Judith A. Banes and Patricia (Banes) Johnson.
Sandra received her Associates Degree from Chamberlayne Junior College and she spent much of her business career in elder health care as a Director of Marketing for nursing homes in CT, NY, CA, and FL. She spent countless hours as Assistant Commissioner of the East Granby Baseball League and also gave her time to Parks and Recreation Committee in East Granby. Sandra's professional accomplishments were many but she was particularly proud of her development of the award winning "Hall of Fame Café" program and a nationally recognized "Quality of Life" program. Visiting hours will be TODAY, Tuesday, November 27th at Fuller Funeral Home, 4735 Tamiami Trial East from 9:30 - 10:30 a.m. The funeral service will begin at 10:30.

A memorial service will be held on Sat., Dec. 1, 2012, at 1:00 p.m. at Tancrell-Jackman Funeral Home 35 Snowling Rd., Uxbridge, MA as Sandra returns to the site of her wedding in October of 1966.
