Uxbridge- Mark J. Chludenski, 66, of S. Yarmouth, formerly of Uxbridge passed away peacefully on Sat. March 6, 2021 at Brigham and Women’s Hospital after a long illness. His wife  Lynne A. (Rodgers) Chludenski died May 25, 2016.
    He is survived by his two children Amie L. Hyman and her husband Mark of Morris Plains, NJ, and Christopher M. Chludenski and his girlfriend Stephanie McGhee; two cherished granddaughters Emily and Sophia; his beloved girlfriend Whitney Baker-Dow; eight siblings Chester A. Chludenski, Jr. and his wife Carol (Weldon) of Northbridge, Melanie A. Smart and companion John Reiney of Mendon, Karen F. Chludenski and her husband Mark Dickinson of Chepachet, RI, Anne M. Gribauskas and her husband William of Sutton, Florence I. Chenevert and her husband Peter of Uxbridge, John A. Chludenski of Uxbridge, Alexandria Chludenski of Uxbridge, and Michael P. Chludenski and his wife Beth of Sutton; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and his loveable Goldens. He was predeceased by his brother-in-law William Smart. Born in Milford, MA on March 16, 1954 he was son of the late Chester A. and Florence I. (Griggs) Chludenski and lived in S. Yarmouth since 2013, previously living in Uxbridge.
    Mark was a dedicated Metal Fabrication Teacher at Assabet Valley Technical High School in Marlborough. Previously he was a Welder and Boilermaker throughout the area for Local 29. A graduate of Uxbridge High School and Framingham State University where he was a standout football player, he later coached football at Assabet. He was a volunteer with many community services including Toys for Tots, the Yarmouth Food Pantry and Senior Center and through Moose Lodge #2270 where he served as Governor. An athletic sportsman Mark belonged to the Bass River Rod and Gun Club and loved skating, swimming, clamming, the beach and even rescued a stranded dolphin once. A Harley enthusiast, a Haloween fanatic, and ever sociable Mark was a member of the Polish Hall and loved playing golf, softball, dart leagues, and the Uxbridge Shuffleboard League.
    His Memorial Service will be held Fri. March 12 at 7 pm in Tancrell Jackman Funeral Home, 35 Snowling Rd. Uxbridge. Calling hours are Fri March 12 from 4 to 7 pm.
