Mendon – Victor L. Tetreault, 85, previously of Hastings St. passed away on Thurs. Feb. 2 at Beaumont @ Worcester Commons after a long battle with dementia.
He is survived by his 4 sons, Paul Tetreault and his wife Cindy of LA, Mark Tetreault of VT, Peter Tetreault of Mendon and John Tetreault of Webster; 7 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; 2 sisters Beatrice Wood of Dexter, ME and Agnes DiLuca and her husband Jack of Mendon; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by 7 sisters and 2 brothers. Born at home in Mendon on April 4, 1931, he was the son of Louis and Marie (Benoit) Tetreault and lived in Mendon all of his life.
He was a well known mason in the area did plastering for several of the area churches. Victor enjoyed hunting and was a member of the Nipmuc Rod & Gun Club many years. He was also part of the Brothers of the Brush Club in Mendon. He was a wonderful father and will be greatly missed.
His memorial funeral service will be held on Fri., Feb. 10 at 6:30 p.m. in Tancrell-Jackman Funeral Home, 35 Snowling Rd., Uxbridge. Calling hours in will be held on Fri. Feb. 10 from 4 – 6:30 p.m. to leave a condolence message for the family, please visit www.jackmanfuneralhomes.com
