Trevor J. Shay

Uxbridge- Trevor J. Shay, age 10, of Albee Rd. died unexpectedly on Saturday May 11, 2024 at The Hasbro Children’s Hospital in Providence.

     He is survived by his parents Michael F. and Kelly L. (Glickler) Shay; two brothers Dylan M. Shay and Owen L. Shay; his paternal grandmother Theresa (Lambert) Shay of N. Ft. Meyers FL; his maternal grandfather Ira Glickler of Acton; his maternal grandmother Gayle Yee and her husband William of Hopkinton; aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. He was predeceased by his paternal grandfather John F. Shay.

     Trevor was a 4th grade student at the Whitin School in Uxbridge. He was a member of the Uxbridge Cub Scouts and played hockey with the Ocean State North Stars Peewee Hockey Team. He was a budding entrepreneur who had big business plans.  He had a great imagination and loved reading books about all different topics.  He loved spending time with his family, grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

     His Funeral Mass will be held Monday May 20, 2024 at 10 am in St Mary’s Church, 77 Mendon St. Uxbridge. Calling hours at Tancrell-Jackman Funeral Home, 35 Snowling Rd. Uxbridge, will be Sunday May 19 from 4 to 6 pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Trevor’s memory to Hasbro Children’s Hospital, The Providence Ronald McDonald House, or The Izzy Foundation

For parents with concerns Trevor’s casket will be closed from 4-5:30.
