Timothy "Tim" J. Foster

Northbridge/ Framingham- Timothy J. Foster, 60. It is with broken hearts that we share the loss of one of the truly good ones. Tim left us far too soon, on Friday, June 26, 2026, but his impact on the lives of those who knew him will never be forgotten.

Tim was one of a kind—a man who loved people wholeheartedly and found genuine joy in making others smile. Whether through his silly Facebook posts, ridiculous videos, or perfectly timed dry humor, he had an unmatched ability to make people laugh. If you knew Tim, chances are you loved being around him.

Born and raised in Framingham, Massachusetts, Tim was the first-born son of the William (deceased) and Pearl (Ruddock) Foster. He graduated from Keefe Technical High School in 1984, where his time in the auto body program sparked what became a remarkable 44-year career in restoration. His craftsmanship was second to none, and he took tremendous pride in making sure every vehicle and boat he touched left looking better than ever.

Tim had a passion for life and for anything that moved fast. He loved his boats, his cars, and his motorcycle, and some of his happiest memories were made spending summers on Lake Winnipesaukee with the Carlson family. He had been eagerly looking forward to taking his 1976 Pontiac Le Mans and Hondo for the Fourth of July weekend.

Even at 60 years old, Tim never lost his childlike spirit. He was a devoted brother and best friend to Scott, and was a fun-loving uncle who delighted in chasing his nieces around and making them laugh until they couldn’t catch their breath. After six nieces, he was especially excited to finally welcome a nephew, Parker into the family.

Tim is survived by his beloved brother, W. Scott Foster and his wife, Denise; his mother, Pearl (Ruddock) Foster; a stepdaughter, Lyndsay Carlson and her husband Jeremy; his nieces, Danika, Delaney, and Lillian Carlson; three nephews, Chris Foster and his wife Samantha; their children, McKenzie, Karlie, and Emma, Colby Foster and his wife Lauren; their son, Parker, and Devon Foster and his fiancé Stephanie; along with many extended family members and countless friends who were fortunate enough to know and love him.

His family will hold a private burial at Mount Auburn Cemetery in Watertown, Massachusetts.

A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date, when family and friends can gather to honor Tim’s memory, share stories, laugh together, and raise a sunrise cruiser in his honor—just as he would have wanted.
