Timothy Vincent Paige

Millville- Timothy Vincent Paige, 93, passed away peacefully on Thursday,  March 24, 2022. His wife of 59 years, Eileen H. (Britt) Paige predeceased him in 2014.
        He is survived by three children: Daniel J. Paige and his wife Alexandra of Yarmouthport, Suzan E. Paige of Sagamore Beach, and Veronica M. Paige of Tolland, CT; seven grandchildren: Timothy Zigmont and his wife Alise, Lucas Cabral, Addie-Eileen Paige, Genny Paige, Julianne Zigmont, Alexa Paige, and Daniel A. Paige. He was also predeceased by siblings Edward “Ted” Paige, George Paige, Gertrude Smith, Ann Damarjian, Mary Paige, Thomas Russell Paige, and Joseph Paige. 

        Tim was born on July 18, 1928, son of George and Anastasia (Murphy) Paige and grew up in Woonsocket, RI. He graduated from Woonsocket High School and earned Master’s degrees in Speech Pathology and Guidance from Rhode Island College and Emerson College. Tim worked many years for the Woonsocket Public School System as a Speech Therapist, sixth grade teacher, and Guidance Counselor.  He was a veteran of the Korean War, serving in the U.S. Navy, and a longtime member of St. Augustine's Parish. Tim enjoyed listening to beautiful music, watching westerns, and traveling - with especially fond memories of his time in Ireland. He cherished time spent with his children and grandchildren, and loved going out to lunch to share a piping hot meal with family and friends. One of Tim's greatest delights was to sit in the warmth of the sun under a clear blue sky. 

        A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at St. Augustine’s Church, 15 Lincoln St., Millville on Thursday, April 21,2022 at 11 AM. Burial will be held privately.
