Douglas- Timothy Clyde “Puma” Newell, 38, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, January 22, 2025.

         Timothy is survived by his son Robert Charles Watson of Milford, his mother, Joyce M. Newell of Webster, his sister, Michelle Ancona of Ware; her children, Zachariah Connors, Isaiah Ancona, and Lydia Small; his brother Brian Laprade and his fiancé Nicole Lewie and their children, Cassandra, Josie, and Aiden Lewie, and his great-nephew Alexander. He is also survived by his aunts and uncles, Holly Smith and her husband Andrew of N. Grosvenor Dale, CT, Natalie Snay of Uxbridge, Verneice Richards and her husband Stephen of Northbridge, and Clyde Newell Jr and Diane. of Norton, as well as many cousins. He was predeceased by his maternal grandparents Clyde F. Newell Sr. and Joyce Newell.

         Born in Worcester on March 20, 1986 Tim grew up and was educated from the Douglas School system. Always seeking new knowledge he loved reading and wrote of the books he loved. Timothy was a great cook who worked in the food service program for several years, and loved gardening. He loved animals and helped to train dogs for the NEADS program, providing adults, children and veterans with service dogs. He was a very smart and an avid learner who loved taking different courses that were offered to him to further himself in any field he could. He was not only passionate about his Native American heritage, but was a member of the Mohawk Tribe, and was given his name tribal name “Puma” by the tribal Chief.

         Above all, Timothy loved his family and friends. He was a good father, son, brother, uncle and friend. He was kind, loving, and caring and will be sorely missed by his family and those who had the chance to know him. 

         Services for Timothy will be privately held at the convenience of his family. In lieu of flowers, donations in Timothy’s name may be made to the NEADS World Class Service Dogs, PO Box 1100, Princeton, MA 01541. To leave a condolence message for his
