Obituary

Uxbridge-Theresa A. Gervais, 94, of Douglas  St. passed away Tuesday March 1, 2022 in Milford Regional Medical Center.
     Theresa has two surviving brother-in-laws, Bob Haley and Bill Bruneau both of Uxbridge, as well as many nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, and great- great nieces and nephews. Ms. Gervais was born in Uxbridge, the last remaining child of the late Henry and Malvina (Normandin) Gervais and would have been turning 95 on March 18. She was predeceased by three brothers and eight sisters. 
     Family was very important to Theresa; she enjoyed spending time with all of them, loved them dearly, and always had something kind to say. Theresa was a life time resident of Uxbridge, a devout member of Saint Mary's Church, and worked at Amperex in North Smithfield, RI for over twenty five years. She loved the holidays, children, family trips, and visiting family and friends. Theresa attended ceramics classes and crafted many beautiful pieces. She was a graduate of Uxbridge High School.
     Her funeral will be held Tues. March 8, with a Mass at 11 am in St. Mary’s Church, 77 Mendon St. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery. Calling hours at Tancrell Jackman Funeral Home, 35 Snowling Rd. are Tues. March 8 from 9:30 to 10:30 am. Memorial donations in her memory may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, 501 St.Jude Pl.
