Suzanne Quinn Narkus, 68, of Plaistow, NH, passed away on September 29, 2023, after a period of declining health.
She is survived by her son Christopher Narkus of Plaistow, NH; her brothers Ralph Quinn and his wife Deborah of Douglas, MA; Robert Quinn and his wife Mary of Shrewsbury, MA; Thomas Quinn of Clark County, Ohio; and Bruce Quinn and his wife Serafina of Holden, MA; and many nieces and nephews.
The family wishes to express its appreciation to Suzanne’s close friend Doug Hanson and her former husband Paul Narkus for the assistance and support rendered by them throughout her period of failing health.
Suzanne was born on September 10, 1955, at Fort Dix, New Jersey. She was raised from a young age in Douglas, MA, where she attended grades K-12. After high school Suzanne continued her education and received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst, and her Masters in Public Health Administration from Clark University.
Suzanne worked for many years in the field of health care to include employment at the Visiting Nurse Association in Worcester as well as VNA companies in Southborough, Andover and Lynn.
Suzanne was an avid reader who especially enjoyed mystery and crime novels. She also enjoyed knitting and was a longtime lover of cats.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, October 13, at 10:00 A.M. in Saint Denis Church, 23 Manchaug Street, Douglas, MA. Burial will follow in St. Denis cemetery.
