Milford- Stephen P. Johnson, 56, of Willow Court Group Home in Milford, passed away on Sat. July 27, 2024 after a period of declining health.
He is survived by 2 sisters, Debra Johnson and her wife Sarah of Putney, VT, and Karen Johnson of Worcester; his step father, Paul Graham Sr. of Worcester; 4 step brothers, Paul Graham Jr. of Auburn, Brien Graham of N. Brookfield, Peter Graham of Hopkinton, and Mathew Graham of Milford; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, as well as his house manager Jaymee Wills and the rest of his extended family from Willow Court. He was predeceased by his father, Paul R. Johnson, his mother Rosemary (Mahan) Johnson Graham, and his step brothers, Thomas and Kevin Graham.
Born in Dorchester on August 4, 1967, Stephen grew up in the Webster Square/ Columbus Park area of Worcester. He loved music, and especially enjoyed Billy Joel and Foreigner. He had a drum set he liked to play and also took guitar lessons. He looked forward to watching his favorite game shows daily, including Jeopardy, Wheel of Fortune and his favorite Family Feud.
Stephen was extremely social, outgoing and funny. He loved to entertain and the positive light that shined within him was clear to those who knew and loved him. He taught people in his own way and connected with others on a pure level. Affectionately referred to as “Everyone’s Buddy” Stephen was a sweet affectionate guy. Over the years he had participated in the Special Olympics. He was a man of faith who liked to attend church, dress up, and look sharp.
His family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff of UMass University Hospital for their support and care over the past few months.
Calling hours will be held from Jackman Funeral Home, 12 Spring St., Whitinsville on Friday, Aug. 2nd from 4-6 PM. A service of remembrance will be held at 6 PM in the funeral home, followed by a celebration of his life.
