Pawtucket/ Woonsocket- Shirley Ann (Lynch) Leblanc, 90, passed away on Thurs., May 1, 2025 at Advinia Care at Northbridge after a period of declining health.
She is survived by 4 children, Michael E. Leblanc and his wife Janet of Blackstone, Donna M. Hinman and her husband Jack of Millville, Joseph N. Leblanc Jr. of Johnston, RI, Diane M. Parker of Millville; 8 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews, and her most loved grand dogs. She was predeceased by 5 siblings, Barbara Farrands, Lorretta Hammac, William, Irene, and John Lynch Jr.
Born in Pawtucket, RI on September 14, 1934 she was daughter of the late John and Agnes (Roy) Lynch and was raised and educated in Pawtucket. Shirley was a hard worker and worked for many years in area companies, and several years for Factory Mutual in Norwood in their food service department. She was a past resident of Millville, and Woonsocket.
Shirley enjoyed playing bingo and did so for many years in Woonsocket with her sister Barbara. Together, they enjoyed monthly trips to Foxwoods, which she always looked forward to. A great mother, as her children were growing up, she enjoyed being active and involved in their extracurricular activities. She was very family-oriented and loved spending time with her grand and great grandchildren.
As to her wishes, her funeral service will be privately held at the convenience of her family. In lieu of flowers, donations in Shirley’s memory may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-1942.
