Shirley A. (Gricko) Beaumier

Uxbridge- Shirley A. (Gricko) Beaumier, 85, of W. Hartford Ave. passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, July 20, 2022 with her loving family by her side. She was predeceased by her husband of 55 years, Joseph J. Beaumier on November 17, 2013. 
        She is survived by five children, Joseph Beaumier and his wife Mary of Somerset Kentucky, David Beaumier and his wife Carla of Uxbridge, Jeanne Gniadek and her husband Brian of Northbridge, Sandra Stocks and her husband Robert of Southbridge, and Robert Beaumier and his wife Keli of Uxbridge; 7 grandchildren, Michael Beaumier, Brianne Wells, Nicholas Gniadek, Matthew Stocks, Patrick Stocks, Mikayla Stocks, and Mia Beaumier; 5 great-grandchildren, Prem Stocks, Hazel and Sawyer Wells, Lyla and Ryder Gniadek. She also leaves behind several nieces, nephews, and friends, especially her shopping and breakfast companions, Sharon McKeown and Linda Pietrewicz. 
       Born in Worcester on November 20, 1936 she was the daughter of Alexander and Mary (Venslovich) Gricko and has lived in Uxbridge the past 60 years. Shirley worked for the former Widoff Bakery in Worcester where she learned her love of cake decorating, a passion she continued working out of her residential kitchen creating beautiful cakes for birthdays, showers, and wedding celebrations. She also worked for the Salvation Army, Westborough State Hospital, and volunteered for the Upton Senior Center.
        Shirley enjoyed gardening, canning, cross-stitch sewing, and most of all spending time with her family. Over the years, she had helped her husband raise their pigs, cows, and chickens. Shirley loved a good party, and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great- grandchildren. She will be remembered for her sassy nature and wonderful sense of humor, and will be forever missed.

       Shirley’s funeral home service will be held on Monday, July 25th at 10 AM in Tancrell-Jackman Funeral Home, 35 Snowling Rd., Uxbridge. Burial in St. Mary’s Cemetery will follow, where she will be laid to rest beside her beloved husband. Calling hours at the funeral will be held on Sunday July 24th from 4-6 PM.
