Sheila Deneault Obituary
Whitinsville – Sheila A. (Farland) Deneault, 63, passed away with her loving family by her side on Fri. Jan. 20, 2017 after a long battle with cancer.
She is survived by her husband of 32 years, Royden K. Deneault; 3 children Amy L. Murphy and her husband Ryan of Whitinsville, Aaron K. Deneault and his fiance’ Christopher Paradis of Woonsocket, RI, and Krystle A. Hayes and her husband Marcus of Whitinsville; 4 grandchildren, Samantha Mathon, Xavier Murphy, Hayden Murphy, and Jiaiz Hayes; a sister Sharon Christian and her husband Peter of Millbury, nieces, nephews, and many friends. She was predeceased by a brother Kenneth Farland in 1975. Born in Whitinsville on Nov. 16, 1953 she was the daughter of Vernon F. and Stella E. (Snay) Farland and was a graduate of Northbridge High School, Class of 1972.
Sheila worked as a computer chip designer for Digital in Marlboro for 20 years and travelled the region to train others in the field. She also worked for the former Sunshine Haven in Whitinsville and most recently for Omni Control Technology in Whitinsville and Cumberland Farms retiring due to illness.
She cherished her family and friends, often crocheting gifts for everyone from blankets to mittens and hats and was a member of St. Patrick’s church. She enjoyed reading, her favorite author being Stephen King and was a devoted New England sports fan, especially the Boston Bruins. Sheila also enjoyed the occasional trip to the casinos.
Her funeral service will be held Wed. Feb. 1 at 11 a.m. in Jackman Funeral Home, 12 Spring St. Whitinsville, Ma. Calling hours will be held at the funeral home Wed.
