Douglas- Scott Anthony Morin, 44, passed away on June 5, 2024 at UMass University Hospital in Worcester after injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident.
He is survived by his wife Kristin L. (Lamarche) Morin, their son Parker H. Morin and stepson Ean J. Colbert of Millbury; his sons Lukas M. Morin of Douglas, and Gavin G. Morin of Blackstone and their mother Rebecca Finch also of Blackstone; his parents Paul A. and Jean A. (Luukko) Morin of Douglas, his brother, Nickolas Morin and his wife Suzanne of Webster and their children Nathan and Sabrina; his special friend Jennifer Demanche and her daughter Mady, as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins and good friends. He also leaves his beloved bulldog Mr. Potato.
Born in Worcester on May 12, 1980. He was the son of Paul A. and Jean A. (Luukko) Morin. He grew up in Douglas and attended Douglas Schools where he played the saxophone in the marching and jazz bands. He was a graduate of Blackstone Valley Regional Vocational Technical High School class of 1998, where he studied electronics. He then furthered his education attending Hesser College in Manchester, NH where he studied computer technology. Scott worked for Avail Infrastructure Solutions, an electrical component company in Medway, as a quality control inspector for the past 3 years. He was also a seasonal lift operator at Ski Ward. Previously he worked as a dismantler at Sam’s Pull-A-Part.
Affectionately known as “Skeeter”, he enjoyed riding motorcycles and was a member of the Shattered Souls Riding Club, where he served as a road captain and club secretary. An outdoorsman, he enjoyed camping, snowboarding, boating, and playing horseshoes. Scott was a real funny guy and was often referred to as “Sandler” by friends. He was the life of the party and always knew how to have a good time and make those around him laugh. A great dad, he was family oriented and very hardworking. He will be missed by many.
His wake will be held on Monday, June 10th from 4-7 PM from Jackman Funeral Home, 7 Mechanic St., Douglas, MA 01516.
