Sandra Bousquet Obituary

Gorham, Maine-Sandra L. Bousquet, formerly of Whitinsville, Massachusetts passed away on August 21, 2024. Mrs. Bousquet was cared for by family and Northern Lights Hospice.

      She is survived by her husband of 40 years, Mr. Richard Bousquet; sons: Steven Stefaniak and his companion Jen, Robert Stefaniak and his companion Jen, and Austin Bousquet and his wife Jill Bousquet; a daughter: Amy Stefaniak and her companion Dan; her brother Ronald Caouette and his wife Lisa Caouette of Northbridge, MA; a sister, Alison F. Culley and her husband Gary Culley of Pegram, TN, as well as many nieces and nephews that she was very close to. She was predeceased by her parents Lawrence A. Caouette and Dorothy Gniadek; her sister, Lilly May Abyss and a brother Lawrence A. Caouette Jr.

      Mrs. Bousquet was born in Whitinsville, Massachusetts on April 26, 1951. She was a graduate of Northbridge High School class of 1969’ and moved to Gorham, Maine in 1984. Mrs. Bousquet worked for Hannafords Grocery Store in multiple departments and also was manager for Christmas Tree Shop. Together Mr. and Mrs. Bousquet owned and operated Holidec and decorated the streets of Portland, Biddeford, all government agencies, and Post Offices in the state of Maine, and one city center for McBride/ McDonough group for Christmas. Mrs. Bousquet loved her family, and gathering together. She loved holidays, especially Christmas, and all the joy that came with the season. She enjoyed cooking, and creating, and was a baker of fine cakes. She was also an avid gardener, and skilled seamstress.

      Mrs. Bousquet's memorial funeral Mass will be held on Monday, September 9th at 11 AM in St. Patrick’s Church, 1 Cross St., Whitinsville. There are no calling hours. Burial will follow in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Whitinsville. Donations in Mrs. Bousquet’s memory may be made in the form of flowers.To leave a condolence message for her family please visit: www.
