Uxbridge- Rosemary K. (Snowling) Keyes, 73, of Athens, TX, formerly of Uxbridge and Whitinsville died suddenly at home on Mon. Dec. 18, 2023. Her husband Charles “Chuck” Keyes died in 2017.
She is survived by her son Jason Millette and his wife Kim of N. Attleboro;
her grandson Alexander Millette; three siblings Randall A. Snowling and his wife Rosemary of Ft. Washington, MD, Timothy M. Snowling and his wife Debbie of Fairfield, PA, and Katherine A. Johnson and her husband Sonny of Douglas; and several nieces and nephews.
Born in Whitinsville, MA on July 1, 1950, she was daughter of the late Adin G. And Mary K. (Londergan) Snowling and lived in Athens 28 years. She was raised in Uxbridge and lived in Whitinsville as well. She was a 1969 graduate of Uxbridge High School.
Mrs. Keyes was employed as a Certified Nursing Assistant at Beaumont Nursing Home in Northbridge. A hard worker, for 20 years she did a great job caring for the residents there. In 1995 Rosemary moved to Texas with Chuck. There she worked at the Argon Medical Devices Co. retiring in 2012. In Athens she had a beautiful home with lots of land. She loved her animals which included two goats, a cat, her dog Poncho and a bird. She enjoyed family, knitting, crochet, and her regular trips to the Walmart Supercenter.
She will be remembered as a kind, thoughtful woman and will be missed by everyone whose lives she touched.
Her Memorial Funeral Service will be held Sat. Jan. 27, 2024 at 11 am in Tancrell-Jackman Funeral Home, 35 Snowling Rd. Uxbridge. Cremation burial will follow in St. Patrick’s Cemetery in Whitinsville. A calling hour at the funeral home will be held Sat. Jan. 27 from 10-11 am.
