Webster- Roger H. Johnson, 82, of Mike’s Way, and formerly of Douglas, passed away on Wed. Nov 17, 2021 after an illness.
He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Louise (Gemme) Johnson; 2 sons, Ivan and his wife Alexandria Johnson of Wallingford, CT and Sven and his wife Tina Johnson of Webster; 2 granddaughters ,Natalie Giegle, and Alexia Kramer ; 6 great-grandchildren; a brother, Michael Johnson of Douglas; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his son Eric R. Johnson in 2019 and was brother of the late Judith Cusson and Donald Johnson.
Roger was raised and educated in Worcester. He proudly served aboard the submarine USS Charr in the U.S. Navy. A foreman for the Norton Co. he enjoyed woodworking, fishing, and boating in RI. He also loved farming over the years.
