Robert A. Peloquin Sr.

Northbridge- Robert A. Peloquin Sr., 84, of Providence Rd. passed away Sat. Oct. 5, 2024 at home after after an illness.

     He is survived by his wife of 65 years Barbara J. (Flagg) Peloquin; 7 children Elaine A. Deneault of Uxbridge, Patricia Mallory of Cornwall, NY, Robert A. Peloquin Jr. and his wife Bonnie of Whitinsville, Edward Peloquin of Northboro, John Peloquin and Gary Peloquin both of Northbridge, and Brian Peloquin and his wife Amy of Sutton; 6 grandchildren Robert, Lauren, Nicholas, Zachary, Andrew, and Christopher; 5 great-grandchildren Kira, Teagan, Cole, Davin, and Calli-Ann; several nieces, nephews, and friends. Born in Grafton on July 29, 1940, he was the son of Emilien and Noella (Levasseur) Peloquin and lived in Northbridge most of his life.

     Mr. Peloquin worked 40 years as a grinder and a shipper/receiver for Baystate Abrasives in Westboro. He retired when he was 62. He also worked at Stacey Lynn Drapery Co. several years. A 1959 graduate of Northbridge High School, he followed and attended their baseball and football games over the years. He also was an avid NE Patriots and Red Sox sports fan and liked trips to Twin River. He enjoyed reading history books and was a member of St. Peter’s Parish.

     His funeral home service will be held Thurs. Oct. 10 at 10 am in Jackman Funeral Home, 12 Spring St. Whitinsville. Burial will follow in St. Patrick’s Cemetery.
