Webster- Robbin M. (Gilbert) Trottier, 64, formerly of Thompson Rd., passed away on Saturday, October 12, 2024 after a period of declining health.
She is survived by her 4 children, Joshua Jacques of New York, Jeromie Gilbert of Stoughton, Salynna Lauziere and her partner Chuck of Dudley, and Ashley Lauziere and her significant other Devon of Jaffrey, NH; 5 grandchildren, Felicia, Logan, Eliza, Cayden, and Liam; her sister Tammy Gilbert of Thompson, CT; her former husband Al Lauziere of N.C.; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Matthew Trottier in 2018, as well as her brother Ronald J. Gilbert.
Born in Worcester, MA on October 24, 1959, she was the daughter of the late Ronald L. and June (Goyette) Gilbert and was raised in the San Francisco, CA area before moving to Whitinsville in 1974. She was educated at Northbridge High School. Primarily a homemaker, Robbin’s favorite job was always caring for her children but previously she worked for Shaw’s and Polyfoam both in Northbridge.
Robbin was a fun-loving mother and grandmother, she enjoyed listening to music and dancing, especially classic rock her favorites being Fleetwood Mac, Lenny Kravitz, and 3 Doors Down. She took pride in her appearance and always kept her “Eyebrows on fleek”. She was a loving grandmother and loved video chatting with her beloved grandkids.
Her funeral home service will be held on Wednesday, October 16th at 7 PM in Jackman Funeral Home, 7 Mechanic St., Douglas. Calling hours will be held prior to the service from 5-7 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations in Robbin’s memory may be made to the National MS Society, PO Box 91891, Washington, D.C. 20090-1891.
