Richard Souza Obituary

Northbridge- Richard J. “Rick” Souza, 74, of School St., passed away at UMASS University Hospital in Worcester after being stricken ill at home.

He was born in Boston on February 26, 1947 and was the son of the late Carl J. and Sophie (Jaworski) Souza. Richard was predeceased by his beloved girlfriend, Kathleen (Donovan) Guyette in October of 2006. He is survived by many good friends.

Richard owned and operated Dick’s Lawn Service for many years and also did handyman side jobs. He enjoyed cooking and deep-sea fishing. On rare occasions, or in highly populated places he could become a street entertainer, singing and playing the spoons- he was actually really talented. He was a kind, good humored man with a great heart.
