Whitinsville- Richard A. “Dick” Boucher, 77, of Union St. passed away peacefully at home on Tues. Aug. 15, 2023 after a courageous battle with cancer. His loving family was by his side.
He is survived by his wife of 57 years Linda A. (Violette) Boucher; his 2 children Lori Therrien and her husband Creig of King George, VA and Tricia Millette and her husband James of Uxbridge; 5 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; 2 sisters, Rebecca Strom and her husband Dewayne of Linwood, and Gloria Ross of Uxbridge; 2 brothers, Gary Boucher and his wife Karen of Douglas and Jerry Boucher and his wife Linda of GA; and many nieces and nephews. Born in Uxbridge on March 3, 1946 he was son of the late Francis H. and Aurore (Boisvert) Boucher and was raised in Uxbridge. He lived in Whitinsville the past 30 years.
Mr. Boucher worked as a carpenter for several area construction companies. Previously he was a machinist for 10 years. In his later years, he was a welder, retiring in 2008. He was educated in the Uxbridge public school system. Dick served in the US Army National Guard. He enjoyed, gaming on his computer, and loved to make people laugh with everything he did.
