Phyllis Bernier Obituary
Bellingham- Phyllis N. (Norcross) Bernier, 93, passed away peacefully at her home on Monday, January 23, 2023 after a period of declining health.
She was predeceased by her husband of 63 years, Roland E. “Joe” Bernier in 2011. She is survived by 2 sons Roland E. “Buddy” Bernier and his partner Cynthia Miner of Uxbridge and Philip R. “Skip” Bernier and his wife Cindy also of Uxbridge; 2 daughters, Gloria Anne Green of San Antonio, TX, and Jo Ann Fitzgerald of NH; 6 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren; a sister, Paige Gibson of Dover, NH. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by 11 siblings.
Born in North Kingston, RI on July 16,1929 she was one of 13 children born to Elmer and Jennie (Dorr) Norcross and was raised in Franklin. Primarily a homemaker, Phyllis worked for Tupperware for several years as well as New Style Jewelry in Franklin and Boston Scientific in Milford. She enjoyed knitting and crocheting, jigsaw puzzles, and spending time at the Bellingham Senior Center.
