Uxbridge- Peter J. Hayes, 60, of Chocolog Rd., passed away on Friday, August 29, 2025, after a long courageous battle with cancer, surrounded by his loving family.
He is survived by 4 children, Tonimarie Anzalone and her husband Mark of Malden, Alyssa Lincoln, Christopher Lincoln, and Kyle Lincoln all of Uxbridge; his granddaughter Cali-Rae Anzalone; his former wife and mother of his 3 children, Deborah (Russo) Kennedy and her husband Mathew Kennedy of Uxbridge; his brother Richard Lincoln of Peabody, as well as several nieces, nephews, extended family members and many good friends.
Born in Malden, MA on March 24, 1965, he was predeceased by his parents, Peter J. Hayes Sr., and Sandra (Walsh) Lincoln, as well as his adopted father Leon Lincoln. Peter grew up in Malden and was educated from their public school system. He had worked as a truck driver for Kennedy Excavating for several years, before his illness. Previously, he had worked as a trucker driver, carpenter, and lighting/ sound technician in the music industry.
Peter was a very handy, hardworking guy who enjoyed building and fixing things, cooking and music of all kinds. He was a talented musician, playing mainly the drums, but was very musically inclined and played numerous instruments over the years. He also loved riding his Harley Motorcycle, and spending time with his children. He will be sorely missed.
Calling hours in Tancrell-Jackman Funeral Home, 35 Snowling Rd., Uxbridge will be held on Thursday, September 4th from 10-11 AM with a service in the funeral home beginning at 11AM. Burial will follow in Prospect Hill Cemetery, Uxbridge. A celebration of Peter's life will follow at the Uxbridge VFW-all are welcome to attend.
