Peter H. Christian

Millbury- Peter H. Christian, 69, of Canal St., formerly of Uxbridge and Northbridge passed away on Thurs. Dec. 30, 2021 at UMass Hospital.

     He is survived by his wife of 50 years, the love of his life, Sharon M. (Farland) Christian; his daughter Kathy A. Christian of Millbury; two sons, Michael P. Christian and his wife Maggie of Sutton and Joshua J. Christian of Milbury; 5 grandchildren Tessa Hutt, Michael Cyr, Madyson Christian, Cameron Cyr, and Owen Christian; a great granddaughter, whom he adored, Maisie DeOrsey; 3 sisters Patricia Fitzgerald of Fairbanks, AK, Debra Jodrey of Uxbridge and Gail Crooks of Benson, N.C.; several nephews, nieces, co-workers, and good friends. Born in Northbridge on Sept. 18, 1952, he was son of the late Henry P. and Gabrielle (Tessier) Christian and lived in Millbury the past 11 years. He was raised in the Rockdale section of Northbridge and also lived in Uxbridge several years.

     A hard worker, Mr. Christian owned and operated Main Street Wire Products and Northeast Trap Co. in Whitinsville. He was also a Manager for Cavatorta N. America in Whitinsville. Previously he worked for Riverdale Mills 24 years and Ford Motor Co. 18 years. A graduate of Northbridge High School, Class of 1970, he was a member of the MA Lobsterman’s Association. Family meant everything to Peter. There wasn’t anything he wouldn’t do for his family and friends. He will be greatly missed by all. He will be remembered as a generous family man, who was always ready to lend a hand, while putting others ahead of himself.

     Family and friends are invited to calling hours at Jackman Funeral Home 12 Spring St. Whitinsville on Tues. Jan. 4 from 10:30 am to 1 pm.
