Peggy Koenig Obituary
Peggy Koenig, 77, passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 4, 2023, surrounded by her loving family.
She is survived by two sons, Ernest and his wife, Jennifer Guckel of Northbridge, and Mark and his wife Janice Guckel of Charlotte, NC; 5 grandchildren, Adam, Amanda, Courtney, Carrie and Samantha; 2 siblings, her twin sister Bobbie Sleeper, and John Koenig. She was predeceased by her husband Jerry Derringer in 2019.
Born in Long Island, NY on November 30, 1945 she was the daughter of George and Mildred (Thompson) Koenig and grew up in Wilton, CT. She was a resident of Dansbury CT for 40 years.
She will be fondly remembered as an amazing mother and grandmother. She was strong, kind, and was always there for her children and grandchildren.
