Pauline A. (Kalonas) O'Neill

Whitinsville- Pauline A. (Kalonas) O’Neill, 90, passed away on Fri. April 28, 2017 at St. Camillus Health Care Center in Whitinsville where she had been a resident for the past 2 years. Pauline is survived by 6 children; Paula Collins, Maureen Rymeski, Timothy O'Neill, Dan O'Neill, Jon O'Neill, and Rebecca O’Neill, 6 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, son in-laws, and many nieces and nephews. Her husband Raymond of 53 years passed away in 2003.She was also predeceased by her sisters, Mary Rutana; Anne Kinnecome, Rose Kalonas, Martha Kalonas, and brother Frank Kalonas.
Pauline was born in Northbridge the daughter of Caroline (Karoty) and Anthony Kalonas. She was a graduate of Northbridge High Class of 1943. Before her marriage to Raymond in 1950, Pauline worked at the former Whitin Machine Works, and also for the law office of Tom Barry. She enjoyed Polka dancing, country music, knitting, gardening, baking, and more recently bingo. Pauline was a lifelong member of St. Patrick’s Church. The family would like to extend a very special thank you to the staff of St. Camillus for their compassion and support to Pauline and her family.
A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at St. Patrick’s Church, 1 Cross St. Whitinsville, on Wed. May 31 at 10 a.m. Burial will follow in St. Patrick’s Cemetery. There are no calling hours.
