Whitinsville- Paula J. (Milkman) Jacobs Glode, 57, of Fletcher St. passed away on Sat. March 4, 2023 at UMass Hospital on Lake Ave. Worcester after an illness.
She is survived by her 2 children Jared M. Jacobs of Whitinsville and Kassandra J. Miner of Minot, N. Dakota; 6 grandchildren, Mason, Audrey, Violet, Jamison, Jace, and Wren; 2 brothers, Kevin E. Milkman of Raphine, VA, and David J. Milkman in Sallisaw, OK; 3 sisters, Barbara A. Spezzaferro of Orleans, MA, Amy J. Amaral of Sutton, and Ellen S. Agro of Mendon; her former husband James Jacobs, and many nieces and nephews. She was sister of the late Brian A. Milkman, Robert A. Milkman, and James B. Milkman. She was predeceased by her nephew Gregory Amaral. Born in Whitinsville, MA on July 3, 1965, she was the daughter of the late Gordon E. and Theresa J. (Lemay) Milkman and lived in Whitinsville all her life.
Primarily a homemaker, caring for her children and grandchildren, Paula worked many years as a warehouse manager for BJ’s Wholesale Club in their Natick and Uxbridge locations. She had also worked at The Boston Scientific Co., Big Lots, and Cube Smart. She was educated in the Northbridge Public School system.
Paula enjoyed Beavertail State Park in Jamestown, RI, walking the shoreline, and collecting sea glass at the beach. She also enjoyed sailing over the years, but spending time with her grandchildren was her favorite thing to do. Family meant everything to her.
A celebration of Paula’s life will be held at a later date to be announced. Burial in Evergreen Cemetery, Douglas will be privately held. In lieu of flowers, donations in Paula’s memory may be made to: gofund.me/281f172D.
