Douglas- Paul Desrosiers, 59, passed away Friday, December 30, 2022 while being treated for cancer at St. Vincent Hospital in Worcester.
He leaves behind a son P.J. Desrosiers, his fiancée Dializ Marie Gonzalez, grandson Noah Desrosiers of Springfield, MA two brothers Anthony Desrosiers and his companion Barbara Nyder of Lowell, MA, Gerard Desrosiers and his wife Dr. Jennifer Ryan of Westminster,MA; two sisters, Rosemarie and husband Michael Senckowski of Holden, MA, and Mary Anne and husband Harold Simkins of Prescott Valley, AZ. He also leaves many nieces, nephews, cousins, great aunt Rejeanne Stevens of Boylston,MA, and great uncle Henry Blais of Windsor, CT.
Born in Worcester, Massachusetts, November 23, 1963 Paul was the son of Albert and Jeannine (Blais) Desrosiers. He loved fishing down at Cape Cod on the canal by the Bourne Bridge and also at Hampton Beach. He enjoyed taking long walks along the Blackstone River in Uxbridge at River Bend Farm. Many relatives and friends relied upon him for necessary handyman services.
There will be a Memorial Funeral Mass on Saturday, April 29th at 11:00 a.m. in St. Denis Church, 23 Manchaug St., Douglas, MA, 01516. A celebration of his life will follow in the church hall.
