Paul Desjourdy Obituary

Milford- Paul L. Desjourdy, 80, passed away peacefully at home on Wed. Dec. 19, 2018, aside his loving family. He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Virginia A. (Bazzinotti) Desjourdy.
            He is also survived by 2 sons, Russell R. Desjourdy and his wife Susan of Millville, and Paul C. Desjourdy and his wife Lynne of Medfield; 6 grandchildren; 7 great- grandsons; as well as a niece and nephew. He was predeceased by a sister Theresa Frabotta; his niece, Nancy Frabotta; and nephew, Nicholas Frabotta. Born on November 19, 1938, he was son of the late Theodore and Marie (Malenfant) Desjourdy and grew up in Uxbridge.
            Mr. Desjourdy was a graduate of Uxbridge High School, and attended Lowell Technical Institute for general engineering studies. Paul proudly served in the U.S Army specializing as a voice interceptor for the intelligence branch during the Vietnam era. He worked several years as a Senior System Analyst for the Draper Corp. in Hopedale, and later co-founded Intelligent Computer Engineering Inc. with his son Russell, also in Hopedale. After retirement, Paul worked part time as a bus driver for Mendon & Upton public schools, and this brought him great joy, as he greatly enjoyed the children. He was a Boy Scout leader in Hopedale for several years, and an avid golfer, a member of the Hopedale Country Club, and enjoyed yearly trips playing with his friends and sons to Myrtle Beach. He traveled extensively, but what brought him his greatest joy were his sons and their families, which made him a proud man.
            As to his wishes, Mr. Desjourdy will not have services and his burial will be privately held at the convenience of his family.
