Uxbridge- Michael D. Morin- Labonne, 34, passed away suddenly and unexpectedly at his home on Sun., April 2, 2023 after being stricken ill.
He is survived by his mother Karen E. Labonne of Camden, NC; his father figure, Mark Gray I of Woodstock, CT; siblings Mark John Gray Jr. and his wife Heather of Uxbridge, Christopher Morin of Douglas, Amanda Gray and her husband Ian of Woodstock, CT; nieces and nephews, Chase Henault, Evan St. George, Landon Brien, Carly Beatrice Gray, Elliot Isgro, Sam St. George, Mark Gray III; his aunts, Joy Cencak, Jane Bellofatto, Jamie Gray, Amanda Gray, and Kerrie Grenier; many cousins including a special cousin and best friend Thomas Malley, and several good friends including Jack Ruppo. He was predeceased by his father Michael A. Morin; 2 siblings, Samantha Labonne and Corydon Bathgate, and his aunt Kathy Malley.
Born in Worcester on March 16, 1989 he grew up in both Douglas and Thompson, CT. He was educated at Blackstone Valley Technical High School and Quinsigamond Community College. He was highly intelligent and received a scholarship to college winning the John and Abagail Adams Scholarship award. He was an avid fan of Moxie soda.
Michael’s biggest passion in life was writing. His dream was to someday produce stories that others could enjoy, whether that was poetry, storytelling, or nonfiction, his creativity and intelligence were inspiring. His favorite authors were Richard Brautigan and Charles Bukowski, as well as Jack Kirby.

His celebration of life will be held on Saturday, April 15th in Jackman Funeral Home, 12 Spring St., Whitinsville from 12-3 PM.
