Maryellen "Pinky" (Pouliot) Aubin

Douglas- Maryellen “Pinky” (Pouliot) Aubin, 73, passed away on Friday, January 9, 2026 at Blackstone Valley Health & Rehab, peacefully with her loving family by her side, after a long, courageous battle with Alzheimer’s Disease.

She is survived by 2 sons, Jesse D. Aubin, and Casey M. Aubin both of Douglas; 3 grandchildren, Connor Aubin of Dudley, Lotus Aubin, and Luke Aubin both of Whitinsville; 5 siblings, Judi Willinkski of Northbridge, Nelson Pouliot of FL, Michael Pouliot of Edgewater, FL, Patricia Earley of Bristol, RI, Elizabeth Creighton and her husband William of Uxbridge; her best friend, Priscilla Hitchcock of Uxbridge, as well as many nieces, nephews, and a large extended family. She was predeceased by 3 sisters, Margaret Ducharme, Pauline Conroy, and Lynda Pouliot.

            Born in Whitinsville on February 15, 1952 she was the daughter of Nelson P. and Mary (Shugrue) Pouliot and grew up in Uxbridge. She was a graduate of Uxbridge High School, Class of 1970. She enjoyed a long and fulfilling career as a Librarian at the Simon Fairfield Public Library in Douglas, where she worked for 31 years, a role she deeply loved. Previously, she was employed as a Library Assistant at Uxbridge High School.

            Following her retirement, she found great joy in spending time with and helping care for her grandchildren. In her leisure time, she enjoyed crafting, coloring with gel pens, and basket weaving. She also enjoyed visiting Second Beach in Middletown, as well as her weekly trips to the movies. She was a kind, quiet, and loving person who was deeply adored by her family. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

            As to her wishes, Pinky will be cremated, and a celebration of her life will be held on Friday, January 23rd from 4-6 PM in Tancrell-Jackman Funeral Home, 35 Snowling Rd., Uxbridge.
