Mary Feen Obituary

Uxbridge- Mary Kathleen “Kathy” (Connor) Feen, 78, passed away peacefully on Mon. June 13, 2022 at her home, surrounded by her loving family. She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Richard D. Feen.

         She is also survived by 5 children, Michelle Roche and her husband Paul of Shrewsbury, Richard D. Feen Jr. of Uxbridge, Joseph Feen and his wife Lynn of Millbury, John Feen of Dayville, CT, and Kevin Feen and his wife Amy of Auburn; 17 grandchildren; 1 great- grandson, Cameron Feen;

4 siblings, Richard J. Connor and his wife Sue of Florida, Arthur F.L. Connor Jr. of Bellingham, Theresa A. E. Connor of Uxbridge, Martha D. Beattie and her husband Bill of N. Adams, and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her infant grandson, Lucas Henry Feen.

         Born in Swampscott on April 3, 1944 she was the daughter of Arthur F.L. and Mary K. (Hughes) Connor and grew up in Gloucester, MA. She was a graduate of St. Anne’s Catholic High School class of 1962. She furthered her education attending Merrimack College. Kathy worked a few years as an Insurance Clerk for Metlife in Milford before taking a break to be at home to raise her children. As they got older, she returned to work for Berard Furniture in Whitinsville and Attleboro where she worked 20 years. 

        She enjoyed traveling, camping and making beautiful memories with her husband, all over the States, Europe and Ireland where they visited family. She was an avid knitter, painter, vegetable gardener, and talented baker, her chocolate chip cookies were her specialty and everyone wanted her recipe. Kathy was a very social woman, she loved to be in the company of good people and could always strike up a conversation with anyone. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandma, and aunt who will be deeply missed by her family. 

Her funeral Mass will be held on Fri. June 17th at 11AM in St. Patrick’s Church, 1 Cross St., Whitinsville. Burial will follow in St. Patrick’s Cemetery. There are no calling hours. Flowers are acceptable but if preferred, donations in her memory may be made to either The People First Food Pantry, P.O.
