Marilyn Joyce (Fletcher) Morrison

Sutton- Marilyn “Joyce”(Fletcher) Morrison, 84, passed away peacefully on Sun., Dec. 11, 2022 after a period of declining health. She was predeceased by her husband of 60 years, Richard “Dick” Morrison in 2019.

         She is survived by her daughter, Pam Lavallee and her husband Scott of Cheshire, CT; 4 grandchildren, Joshua Lavallee and his wife Stephanie of Burriville, RI, Jessica Ostroskey and her husband Peter Ostroskey Jr. of Douglas, MA, Michael Morrison of  Exeter, NH and Hadley Morrison of Lima, Ohio; 3 great-grandchildren, Brandon, Landon and JJ. She was also predeceased by her son Rick Morrison in 2010.

         Born in Northbridge, the daughter of Burton and Esther (Magill) Fletcher and grew up in Northbridge. Primarily a homemaker caring for her husband and 2 children, Joyce also worked at Walmart until her retirement in 2000.

          Joyce and Dick raised their family in Whitinsville, and moved to Sutton in 2012. She was a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who enjoyed spending time with her family. 
    Her funeral service will be held on Fri., Dec. 16 at 11 AM from Tancrell-Jackman Funeral Home, 35 Snowling Road, Uxbridge. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
