Northboro/Attleboro/Douglas- Marcia A. (Hunt) Kerr, 82, a resident of Christopher Heights in Webster, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 18, 2026, after an illness.
She is survived by her daughter Melissa A. Berthiaume and her husband Michael of Douglas; her son Donald B. Kerr and his wife Lisa of Franklin; six grandchildren, Stephanie Proffer, Courtney Watson, Matthew Berthiaume, Stephen Kerr, Sarah Kerr, and Scott Kerr; a great grandson, Levi Watson; her brother, Kenneth Hunt and his wife Mary of Henderson, Nevada; her two sisters, Janice Perry and her husband Robert of S. Chatham, and Darlene Boyer and her husband Paul of Dennis, MA; her former husband Brian D. Kerr of Attleboro; and several nieces and nephews.
Born in Worcester on September 18, 1943, she was the daughter of Kenneth and Frances (Jennings) Hunt and was raised in Northborough, and was a graduate of Northborough High School.
Marcia was employed for 15 years as a credit and collections agent for the former United Liquor Distributors in Braintree. There, she was well-liked, good at her job, and was appreciated by her coworkers. She later worked at Bed Bath and Beyond in Auburn. Throughout her life, she resided in Taunton, Attleboro, the Riddlebrook Apartments in Douglas, and Christopher Heights in Webster.
Mrs. Kerr enjoyed playing tennis in her youth and, above all, cherished time with her children, grandchildren, and siblings. The fabric of her life was family. She was a devoted and constant presence in her grandchildren’s lives, generously offering her time, love, and support. Marcia also enjoyed cooking and was especially known for her cherry cheesecake, a favorite among family and friends. A woman of deep faith, she attended St. Mary Parish in Uxbridge.
Marcia will be remembered for her warmth, dedication to her family, and the many lives she touched.
A Memorial Funeral Mass at St. Mary Parish will be held in the Spring at a later date to be announced. Memorial donations in Marcia’s memory may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 225 N. Michigan Ave., Floor 17, Chicago, IL 60601.
