Northbridge- Louise B. “Weezy” Reneau, 65, of Tessier St. died Thurs. Oct. 4, 2018 after a long and courageous battle with Cancer.
She is survived by her husband of 30 years, Thomas E. Armstrong; her mother, Theresa C. “Terry” Reneau-Knapik of Largo, FL; a sister, Andrea Powers of Southbridge; a step-sister, Susan Coombs-Becker of Richfield, CT; many nieces and nephews, including Carrie and Wesley; and many great friends and coworkers. Born in Whitinsville on May 21,1953 she was daughter of the late J. Edward “Eddie” Charles Reneau and lived in Northbridge all her life.
Louise worked as a technical Writer and Mentor at eClinicalWorks Inc. in Westborough for 12 years, retiring at the same time as her husband. It was a career she loved and had a passion for, especially the Mentoring. Louise also worked several years at Fenwal Corp. in Ashland. She was a graduate of Northbridge High School, class of 1971, and studied two years at Quinsigamond Community College, and later earning her undergraduate degree from Clark University. She received a Masters degree in communication, graduating first in her class at Clark University. A loving daughter, she spoke to her mother every morning, and she loved horses and all animals. She enjoyed feeding the hummingbirds in her yard, and also collecting dishes and other antiques. She had a passion for sailing, with her husband Tom on Narragansett Bay, which they enjoyed for 17 years. Her family would like to thank Dr. Mona Kaddis and Nurse Mindy Esposito for their wonderful care and support throughout Louise‘s illness.
Her Memorial Funeral Service will be held Thursday, October 11, 2018 at 11 AM in Jackman Funeral Home, 12 Spring St., Whitinsville. Private cremation burial will be in St. Patrick’s Cemetery. Following the Service all are invited to the Whitinsville Golf Club, Fletcher St. Whitinsville for a Collation. A calling hour will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, October 11 from 10 to 11 am. Please omit flowers.
