Loretta Walker Obituary
Uxbridge- Loretta B. (Ouillette) Walker, 87, of Pine Grove Circle passed away unexpectedly at home on Thurs. July 28, 2022. Her husband John Walker predeceased her.
She is survived by a sister Sylvia and her husband Guy Horne of Douglas; and many nieces and nephews. Born in Sutton, MA on March 30, 1935, she was one of 13 born to Anthony and Irene (Leduc) Ouillette, was raised in Sutton and lived in Uxbridge over 50 years.
Loretta worked as a spinner at the former Schuster Woolen Mill in Douglas, at S&D Spinning in Millbury and later worked at Potpourri in Whitinsville.
Always friendly and social, Loretta seemed to know everyone. A member of St. Denis Church in Douglas, she enjoyed spending time with family and friends and socializing at the Uxbridge Senior Center. She also loved keeping up the flowers in her yard. They always looked good.
Her memorial funeral Mass at St. Denis Church, 23 Manchaug St. Douglas will be held Wed Aug 10 at 11 am. Private burial will be held later at Pine Grove Cemetery in Whitinsville. There are no calling hours. Memorial donations in Loretta’s memory may be made to St. Denis Church, 23 Manchaug St. Douglas, MA 01516.
